Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Is the equipment included in the course fee?
Yes, the price of each of our packages includes all the equipment you need for your session on the water: wings, board, harness, wetsuit, life jacket and helmet. We use only modern equipment that is regularly serviced to ensure maximum reliability during your lessons at Flag Beach or the Corralejo Dunes.
What happens if there’s no wind?
Our priority is to ensure you receive a high-quality learning experience in complete safety. If weather conditions or wind strength prevent the kitesurfing lesson from taking place, the session will be rescheduled for the earliest possible date. Should it not be possible to reschedule the lessons during your holiday in Fuerteventura, you will be refunded the cost of the lessons not taken.
Do I need to meet any specific requirements or be in good physical shape?
Kitesurfing is a sport based on technique and sensitivity, not brute strength, so it is accessible to people of all ages and fitness levels. The only essential requirements for starting a beginners’ course are basic water skills (the ability to swim) and good general health. Our personalised coaching method will adapt perfectly to your learning pace.
Where do the lessons take place and where do we meet?
Every morning, CKite School selects the safest and most suitable spot based on the tide and wind direction. Lessons usually take place at Flag Beach, the Grandi Spiagge (Dune) or El Cotillo. The main meeting point is in Corralejo: we’ll send you the exact location via WhatsApp the day before or on the morning itself to ensure the best possible conditions.
